Recording your Mississippi POA
The section Mississippi cites governs the agent's conveyance: a conveyance of lands, deed of trust or mortgage is void as to creditors and subsequent purchasers for value without notice unless it is acknowledged or proved and lodged for record with the chancery clerk of the proper county (Miss. Code §89-5-3). That section does not require the power of attorney itself to be recorded.
The recording office is the office of the Chancery Clerk in the county where the property lies. See Miss. Code §89-5-3.
