Recording your Idaho POA
Idaho does not record an instrument executed by an attorney in fact until the power of attorney authorizing it is filed for record in the same office (Idaho Code §55-806). Recording requires the execution to be acknowledged or proved (§55-805), and it happens with the county recorder of the county where the property is situated (§55-808).
The recording office is the office of the county recorder in the county where the property lies. See Idaho Code §55-806 (the agent's instrument cannot be recorded until the underlying power of attorney is filed for record in the same office).
